MUSIC OF THE PLANTS IS NOW PLANT MUSIC

UniKrahô: An Ancestral Dream Comes to Life in the Forest’s Melody

A Mission to Connect Worlds

In May 2025, Music of the Plants took part in one of the most profound and meaningful events in its history. A delegation from the spiritual community of Damanhur joined the 7th Educational Caravan in Brazil’s Cerrado region to witness a historic moment: the laying of the foundation stone of the first Decolonial Indigenous University, UniKrahô, envisioned by the Krahô people.

Born from a collective dream, this project bridges ancient indigenous knowledge and a new global vision—spiritual, holistic, and ecological. Its mission? To restore dignity, voice, and a future to native populations by reconnecting humanity with the wisdom of the Earth.

The Sacred Cerrado: A Cradle of Life

The Cerrado is one of the planet’s richest yet most endangered ecosystems. Home to 5% of the Earth’s biodiversity and a vast network of rivers, it is Brazil’s true “cradle of waters.” Yet it faces destruction from industrial farming and deforestation. The Krahô people, native to Tocantins, have long fought to protect this sacred land and their cultural heritage.

This mission, guided by the Templo de Plantar and the vision of Paulo César Araújo, supported by Damanhur, brought together eight travelers including Graziella, Tridacna, and Passero—ambassadors of a living bridge between the Peoples of the Earth and the Stars.

Meeting the Krahô People

After a long and difficult journey on sandy paths through remote landscapes, the caravan arrived at Manuel Gomes village, home of Cacique Aprac (Portuguese name: Ismael). Surrounded by barefoot children, sincere smiles, and untouched nature, a deep communion began.

The village, built in a circle around a central fire, is the beating heart of the community. There, people sing, tell myths, and live in perfect harmony with the elements. It is a world both fragile and powerful, balancing between tradition and modernity, resisting satellite antennas, pesticides, and monocultures thanks to the memory of its elders and the strength of its women.

The Symbolic Birth of UniKrahô

The university project was introduced at a gathering of the 44 village leaders (Parri). Its dream: to integrate indigenous language, customs, and spirituality with modern education techniques, offering a learning path that uplifts rather than erases identity. A decolonial education rooted in pride and purpose.

The most emotional moment came on the banks of the Correntinho River. Beneath a full moon that turned trees into living cathedrals, the foundation ceremony took place. Each participant offered a symbolic stone, including a Millonite brought from Damanhur’s Temples of Humankind and a stone representing the wounded Earth. A sacred pact was sealed between Graziella and Aprac, between Damanhur and the Krahô.

The Forest Sings: The Gift of Ginkgo

To crown this moment, a Ginkgo Music of the Plants device was offered to Cacique Aprac. A gesture filled with deep symbolic meaning: to let the Krahô hear the voice of their territory—the sound of the Cerrado.

Connected to a tree, the Ginkgo translated the plant’s electromagnetic signals into a breathtaking melody. When Dorindo, the tribe’s singer, received the device, something extraordinary happened: the forest began to sing. An ancestral, vibrant music filled the air, surprising everyone present.

It was a moment of pure harmony, where sustainable technology gave voice to nature—a perfect embodiment of Music of the Plants’ mission to unite humanity and flora in a shared symphony of life.

Toward a New Humanity

UniKrahô is not just a school. It is an archetype, a beacon, a seed. As described in the book O Amanhã é Tribal, the future of humanity will depend on our ability to return to tribal values: community, nature, spirituality, and cooperation.

Music of the Plants embraces this vision. Our devices are not mere gadgets—they are tools of awareness. Listening to plants helps us heal, relax, and reclaim our rightful place in Earth’s grand organism.

Conclusion: Listening to Understand

What happened in the Cerrado was more than a journey—it was a revelation. Each melody composed by a plant is an invitation to stop, listen, and respect. And the Ginkgo, in its elegant simplicity, has become a symbol of a new alliance: between technology and ancestral wisdom, modernity and Mother Earth.
